‘Homi’

'Homi' is the inspirational story of an Afghan refugee who dedicates her life to giving back to her community. From donating 60% of her business profits towards Afghan women get an education to housing new refugees within her own home, Homi does it all. Our story focuses on the incredible personality behind this giving humanitarian and showcases not only her kindness and compassion but also her strength, sass and warmth.

As part of the filmmaking process, the filmmakers hosted a fundraising event for Homi, her restaurant and her organisation which contributed much needed funds to AADO (Afghan Australian Development Organisation).
