After their explosive first meeting, earnest nurse Ryleigh uses her innate and tender kindness to comfort the scared and headstrong sister of a sick patient.

After an urgent code is called, the overprotective Ty is ushered out of her sister’s hospital room by new nurse Ryleigh. Despite initially being the outlet for Ty’s frustrations, Ryleigh tentatively attempts to connect whilst they await news. Will Ty’s abrasiveness prevent them from finding common ground?

This script was selected by a panel as the final capstone film of the graduating cohort. It was filmed in June of 2023 and is currently in post-production.
